TERMS & CONDITIONS


Please read the following important terms and conditions before you buy anything on our site.
In this contract:
‘We’, ‘Us’, or ‘Our’ means Designer Studio London, based at 4 Dumbarton Way, Slough, Berkshire, SL3 7UR
‘You’ or ‘Your’ means the person using our site to buy goods from us.
You must be over 18 to place orders online with us.

ORDER & CONTRACT

Your order for goods is accepted and a contract is formed between Designer Studio London and you when we dispatch the goods you have ordered and not before. A contract is not formed at the point in time that payment has been taken from you by us, nor at the point in time that you receive an email from us acknowledging receipt of your order. Until the goods are dispatched the order may not be accepted by us or may be cancelled by you. If the order is not accepted by us, it may be (but not limited to) one of the following reasons,

a) The goods are unavailable;
(b) We cannot authorise your payment;
(c) You are not allowed to buy the goods from us;
(d) We are not allowed to sell the goods to you;
(e) You have ordered too many goods; or
(f) There has been a mistake on the pricing or description of the goods

Exceptions apply to orders for personalised items or made to measure orders which can not be cancelled by you once you have received an email confirmation that your order has been accepted, as such goods may already be in production as a result of your order. If you do need to cancel or make changes to a personalised order, please contact us immediately on ami@designerstudiolondon.com to see if we can help.
Following formation of the contract, Designer Studio London shall continue to own any goods ordered until it has been dispatched to you, even though in some cases the goods may have already been delivered to you.

WAYS TO PAY

See below all methods accepted for online purchases:
- All major credit and debit cards
- Apple Pay
- Google Pay
- Paypal

The taking of payment from you by us under any of the means set out above or any other form which maybe agreed on a need basis does not indicate that a contract has been formed between you and us. By placing an order through our website including your payment details – you are making an offer to purchase goods which, if accepted by us, will result in a binding contract. Payment will be refunded to you if your offer is later rejected by us for any reason.

Promotional Offers/e-vouchers

From time to time we may offer discount codes on orders as part of a promotional activity.

Any offer codes remain the property of Designer Studio London, are non-transferable, have no cash value, are non-transferable and may not be reproduced in any other form or used in conjunction with any other offer whether in-store, online or at events. We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions and/or discontinue the incentive at any time.

CANCELLING YOUR ORDER

You may have the right to cancel your order as long as you do so no later than 14 days after the day on which you receive the goods, with the exception of personalised/bespoke/made-to-measure items) or pierced earrings/jewellery for hygienic reasons. Please visit the EXCEPTIONS TO THE RETURNS POLICY section. You must inform us of your wish to cancel the order in writing by email at ami@designerstudiolondon.com with in a period of 14 days beginning on the day you receive your goods. You must take care of the goods and not use them
If you cancel the whole order, delivery charge will be refunded.

DELIVERY TERMS

We will deliver your goods using the delivery method that you selected during the checkout process to your chosen delivery address. We estimate dispatch of 2-3 days from placing the order. You will receive a text or email confirmation as soon as your goods have been dispatched with details of the courier along with a tracking or reference number where relevant and expected delivery date.
We insure all goods up until the point they are delivered to you, All Packages must be signed for at which point the goods are transferred to you. If outer packaging is damaged in anyway, you must write it on the courier’s delivery note when you sign for the delivery.

Standard Courier Delivery

For England, Scotland, Wales & Northern Ireland, standard signed for courier delivery charge to home is £4.99 per delivery for most postcodes. If you are not available to receive your order, the courier will leave you a note with further instructions to arrange for a re-delivery.
The estimated date of delivery of your goods is set out in the email confirmation, this date is estimate only and we can-not guarantee to deliver the goods on that date as all or delivery options are 3rd party companies.

DPD Precise

For an extra £2 DPD precise can be selected as a delivery method when checking out. This service will only be offered to customers that live in eligible areas. Customers will be able to choose a 1 hour delivery time slot from a range of available time slots. DPD will then contact customers who will be able to make amendments to the delivery if required. The charge for this service is £6.99.

Delivery to Hermes Parcel Shop

Standard delivery charge to a Hermes Parcel shop is £2.50. This is with the exception of Sundays and Bank Holidays. No parcels will be delivered to a Hermes Parcel Shop on Sundays or Bank Holidays, but any parcels already delivered will be available for collection subject to the shops opening times. Parcels will be available for collection between 12 noon and 5pm Monday to Saturday. We will email or text you when your order has arrived and is ready for collection at your designated Hermes Parcel Shop. Your parcel will be kept at your designated Hermes Parcel Shop for 10 days. We will send you a reminder text or email to collect your parcel before we return it to our warehouse. Hermes Parcel Shop opening times and days cannot be guaranteed. All delivery services are subject to stock and demand. When collecting a parcel delivered to a Hermes Parcel Shop, please take one form of personal identification e.g. driving licence, passport or utility bill. If a representative is collecting a parcel the identification supplied should be for the customer that has placed the order.


For full delivery information, see the DELIVERY section. Standard dispatch times/deliveries is not applicable to items made to your specification, bespoke/Made2Measure. Specific delivery details will be confirmed at the time you order. Standard courier delivery services are available in most areas. All courier delivery services are subject to stock, courier area and availability and demand. When the standard courier service is not available, Designer Studio London will deliver by an alternative carrier and this may take longer. Delivery times cannot be guaranteed. No delivery services are available on a bank holiday. Delivery times cannot be guaranteed. We do not deliver to BFPO addresses. Over our busy periods or Sale times our standard delivery services may be affected, specific delivery details will be confirmed at the time of order.

Other Delivery and Collection points

We may offer other alternative locations other than Hermes Parcel Shops. The terms and conditions for these locations will largely be the same as for Hermes Parcel shops. If there are any additional requirements these will be made clear at the point of order.

International Delivery

We delivery worldwide to almost all countries. Unfortunately, we can't ship to the following countries because of restrictions by courier company we use.:
Afghanistan, Angola, Bolivia, Burma (Myanmar), Congo, Cuba, Iraq, Iran, Ivory Coast (Cote D’Ivoire), Liberia, Nigeria, North Korea, Paraguay, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Venezuela

Any location that would be in violation of any U.S. economic or trade sanctions including OFAC Restricted Countries will be restricted. For shipments to Russian and other Commonwealth of Independent States countries (includes Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Russian Federation, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan) coverage ceases upon touchdown of the aircraft at the airport of destination or upon discharge from the overseas vessel at the destination discharge port.
Local Customs, duties and Taxes
If you live outside the UK, some countries charge local duties or taxes on your order. This is a separate charge (not imposed by us) so we recommend that you contact your local Customs Authority to understand what any potential costs may be before you order.

In most cases, the courier delivering your outfit will take payment of these charges on behalf of your local Customs Office, before releasing your order to you.
If for whatever reason you need to refund your purchase, these charges aren't refundable from us and you'll have to claim these refunds from your local Customs Authority directly.

Free Delivery / offer codes

From time to time we may offer free delivery on orders as part of a promotional activity. This will be UK mainland only and Northern Ireland and not on international orders.


Free delivery and other offer codes remain the property of Designer Studio London, are non-transferable, have no cash value, are non-transferable and may not be reproduced in any other form or used in conjunction with any other offer. The free delivery offer is on the standard delivery option only and can be used on eligible purchases made online at www.designerstudiolondon.com only. This offer is open to UK and Northern Ireland residents over 18 years old. We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions and/or discontinue the incentive at any time.


RETURNS & REFUNDS

You may return most items in new and unused/un-modified condition in the original packaging. If you want to cancel/return your order you must tell us and return the goods within 14 days (beginning on the day after you receive the goods), Certain items cannot be returned as detailed in the EXCEPTIONS TO THE RETURNS POLICY section. Refunds will be made via the same method you paid for your order once the goods have been received and inspected, usually within 7 days of receipt. Returned items which are not in new or unused condition may not be fully credited to your account unless they are returned because they are faulty. This does not affect your right to return faulty items.

You should return the goods to us in their original packaging with labels attached within 14 days of informing us of your wish to cancel. If you return the goods to us, we will not be responsible for any loss or damage to them during transit and we recommend that you use a recorded or secure delivery method. If goods are damaged in transit, we may charge you, or not refund to you, amounts that are attributable to the loss or damage. Customers are required to cover the postage costs of the return which exceeds the “try it for free” 7-day period.

If you don’t absolutely love your purchase, simply send it back to us for a refund. Returns sent back within 7 days will qualify for free returns. Simply contact us if you want to return your order on ami@designerstudiolondon.com
Any garments returned after the 7 day “Try it for free” period will not be eligible for free returns but can still be returned within 14 days for a full refund. Returns exceeding 14 days but within 30 days are accepted on a discretionary basis for a credit note only.

To return by post please email us at ami@designerstudiolondon.com to request a returns label.


Using My Hermes Parcel Shop to return a parcel

Returns in a new and unused condition can be returned via a Hermes Parcel Shop. To return items you will need the ‘peel off’ returns label from the original dispatch note. Without this a return cannot be completed at a Hermes Parcel Shop. Specific packaging or dispatch bag are not required, although if possible please return in the original packaging. The items should be in a sealed secure parcel, with the ‘peel off’ returns label attached. You will receive proof that you have returned a parcel at a Hermes Parcel Shop. Refunds will be made once the parcel has arrived back with us. This may take up to 7 days. Returns are charged at £2.99 per return made. If you paid for the order by credit/debit card, any charges will be deducted from your refund if your return falls after the 7 day Try it for free period.

Prices

UK, EU and Jersey. The prices shown are inclusive of any value added tax or sales tax. Due to circumstances beyond our control, prices may have to be altered up or down, including any alterations to the rate of value added tax or sales tax. The current price will be shown when you place your order. All prices shown are cash prices in sterling. Prices of goods displayed in and ordered through our Online store may differ from prices in-store. Currency converter on our website is only to be used as a guidance to see the price of the goods in your currency. You are responsible for any charges that your payment card provider may apply for making payment in different currencies.

Usage

All products are sold on the basis that they are suitable for domestic use only. Please contact us for further information if you intend using any products in a business or public environment.

Availability

All orders for products are subject to availability.

Colour of reproduction

We take great care with the colours used in the collections. The limitations of colour reproduction and the individual colour settings of your screen may mean a slight variation. Every reasonable care has been taken to ensure that the descriptions are accurate. However, specifications may change.

Language

This information is supplied in English only and we will continue to communicate in this way during your agreement with us.

Copyright/Intellectual Property

We retain ownership of all intellectual property rights, such as designs, trademarks and copyrights, which include (but not limited too) our pictures, swatches, designs, logos, photographs, sketches, text written, or other materials provided by us. Any use or copying of information is prohibited without our written permission.

Law

Our agreement with you is based upon English law and the laws applicable to this agreement are the laws of England and Wales.
